Emily Giske is a government affairs specialist with extensive experience in Albany and New York City. For the past decade, she has been a lobbyist for corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit entities, and municipalities.
Emily Giske is a former political consultant and has been an advisor to various elected officials, including members of Congress and the New York State Legislature. In September 1996, she served as a Vice-Chair of the New York State Democratic Party, and in April 1999 was elected to the Democratic National Committee.
Emily secured millions of dollars for renovation of a hospital emergency room, helped negotiate both a multi-million dollar energy deal for a major company, and legislation for a prominent New York entertainment company that enabled it to protect their intellectual property.
She has been quoted in the New York Times, USA Today and many other newspapers for her insights on New York politics. She has appeared on NBC Nightly News, Channel 7 and New York 1.
Emily Giske received her bachelor's degree from George Washington University and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from The New School in New York City.
