With more than two decades of experience, John Wright is an expert in the human service organizations field. He has a rich background in non-profit management, government relations, program design implementation and specializes in building collaborations between not-for-profit organizations, as well as philanthropic groups.
John has lobbied on behalf of a wide variety of public and private advisory bodies including: the New York City HIV planning Council, the New York City and State HIV Prevention Planning Group, the Statewide AIDS Service Delivery Consortia, the New York City AIDS Fund, the National Coalition on Youth Policy, Black Administrators in Child Welfare and the Times Square Business Improvement District.
John served as Executive Director of the Educational Development Organization, Clearpool, Inc., Director of Operations for the After School Corporation and Assistant Executive Director for the Center for Children and Families/Safespace, Inc. Additionally, John was the Assistant Executive Director of New York City's oldest African-American run child welfare agency, the Harlem Dowling-Westside Center.
Prior to joining Bolton-St. John's, John was a partner at Public Strategies, LLC, a full-service government relation firm in New York City.
John Wright received his bachelor's degree from Niagra University and a Master's Degree in Non-Profit Management from The New School in New York City.
