Update on the Assembly and Senate:

Here are some statistics you might be interested in about what is going on in the Assembly and Senate this year.

Since January:

• 653 bills have passed the Assembly
• 458 bills have passed the Senate
• 72 bills have passed both houses
• 52 bills have been delivered to the Governor
• 37 bills have been acted upon by the Governor
• 31 bills have been chaptered*
• 15 bills have been vetoed*

* The discrepancy in bill numbers reflects the fact that in some cases (budget) bills have line item vetoes and the entire bill has not been vetoed or chaptered.

This session Bolton-St. Johns is tracking over 2050 bills for our clients!

The pace of the flow of legislation through the houses is beginning to pick up. It should continue to gain speed as we get closer to the projected last day of session which is Thursday, June 22nd.
