Jack O'Donnell

Jack O’Donnell is an expert in both Erie County and New York State politics and government. He has spent the majority of his life working in New York’s political scene.

In New York, Jack has served as United States Senator Chuck Schumer’s Director for Intergovernmental Affairs. In this position he worked with local elected officials and community leaders on many issues facing the state, including economic development, education, and energy concerns. In this capacity Jack played a vital role in helping the Senator bring JetBlue and Southwest Airlines to Buffalo and Federal aid to Erie County hospitals.

Jack also has extensive campaign experience throughout New York State, including Clinton-Gore ‘96 and many other local elections in Erie County, and he is a regular contributor to political programming on both radio and television, including Your News Now (YNN), Time Warner’s Buffalo-based 24-hour cable news network and Capitol Tonight, a news and current affairs program broadcasted statewide.

Prior to joining Bolton-St. Johns, Jack was the founder and President of O’Donnell & Associates, LLC, a prominent political consulting and public relations firm located in Western New York that is known throughout the state for its work on both local and statewide campaigns.

Jack is a graduate of Canisius College and he currently resides in Buffalo.
